EKRA News Log
I've learned that I can never have enough fabric that is white with citrus tones (orange, yellow, green). I've gotten a lot of requests for yellow and white flecked rugs and so now I never pass up a sheet that is yellow and white or yellow and white and some other color. I was just beginning to have a decent sized stash when I got an order for two large oval rugs, one 3'x5' and one 2.5' x 4'. They were supposed to match so I took my stash, divided it in two, and went to work and made these two pretty oval rugs. Usually, when I finish a project, I can't wait to sweep away the extras into some pile somewhere else, out of my sight, so I can move on to some other project in a different color scheme. But this time was different. I couldn't wait to finish up the second oval so I could do what I wanted with the leftovers. I made this round rug: It measures just under 3 ft in diameter. Now I am officially out of white and citrus tones. We are headed to the city this weekend, so hopefully the Salvation Army will have some for me so I can build up my stash again. Fresh Citrus.
